I began my formal visual arts training at age of 12 attending the Alabama School of Fine Arts. I quickly became a sought-after artist, and was commissioned to complete projects for the Birmingham Civil Rights Museum, and several local magazines in Alabama before my college pursuits even began. I attended Howard University in Washington, D.C. to continue my visual arts education in parallel to his architecture studies. It was at Howard University that my career took off. I became one of DC’s emerging graphic designers serving the sports, corporate business, entertainment and nightlife industry. My commitment to fine art and visual communications lead me to finish my college studies at the Corcoran College of Art + Design. My experience led to numerous opportunities to develop key relationships within the corporate industry where I was able to expand my profession serving companies in senior management and executive roles.

Armed with a ‘roll-up-your-sleeves’ entrepreneurial, start-up working style, I am able to adapt quickly and efficiently to daily workflows. Working closely with executive management, clarifying requirements, facilitating rapid concepts and validating designs with specifications, I ensure design communication feasibility for a diverse portfolio of clients. I am a master in Photoshop, Illustrator and a Wizard in Indesign. I have a tremendous amount of experience developing products, magazine/publication layout and direction from top to bottom, brand identity and visual standards for every type of medium imaginable for major industries. In addition to traditional mediums of design I have learned many of the new tech trends such as mobile UX/UI design using supporting programs such as Celtra, After Effects, Sketch and other animation based software.

I bring a wealth of experience in working with internal and external branding and identity projects for a diverse list of stakeholders, decision makers, and target audiences. In addition to team management and design specifications, I am well versed in working with time-sensitive deadlines and within applicable budgets.
